Sir Michael Edwards, OBE, will be reading poems from his recently published collection, ‘At the Brasserie Lipp’. Sir Michael attended Christ’s, Cambridge, of which he is now an Honorary Fellow and is a literary scholar who is the first Englishman ever to have been elected to the Collège de France and to the Académie Francaise.
The reading will be co-hosted by the American Cathedral and the Cambridge Society of Paris and light refreshments will be served after the reading to a musical accompaniment. Some copies of the book will be available for purchase by members who can have a copy signed by the author.
For those who do not already know the Cathedral, it is one of the finest examples of English Gothic Revival architecture in Europe.
The event is free of charge, but a collection will be taken to cover the costs of the event with any surplus to be donated to the Cathedral.

Please ensure you arrive punctually before 7pm as the Cathedral gates are closed in the evening.
