Here's a chance to witness something that only happens once a generation.

The Pont Neuf is being wrapped again: 40 years after Christo and Jeanne-Claude's legendary 1985 installation drew three million visitors to Paris.

Artist JR has taken up the mantle this June, and we'd love for you to join us for an evening. The installation lasts only one month.

DATE: Wednesday 18th June.

Programme

18:00 – Optional Pre-walk drinks at the wine bar L'Etna (33 rue Mazarine, 75006 Paris).
Not booked - host Francesco  will meet you on the Ile de la Cité

19:00 – MEET IN FRONT OF THE BOOKSHOP AT 16 Place Dauphine

Walk through the wrapped Pont Neuf (free entry).
A rare, ephemeral, unmissable spectacle.

20:00 onwards – Drinks & snacks at Café Quartier Jeunes
We'll wind down at this municipal hub for young students and workers.

This is a Junior section outing, warmly open to all: the more the merrier.
